Join me in commencing your journey into yoga or continuing on your already established yoga practice. I have been practicing yoga regularly for about five years and am a recently certified yoga instructor. I completed my training in Nicaragua in the heart of Central America through an academy recognized by the Yoga Alliance.
I hope you gain as much love for the practice of yoga that I have, and that you reap the physical, spiritual and emotional benefits of this amazing practice for the mind and body.
Yoga is a lifelong journey that I am only in the beginning phase of. I look forward to growing alongside my students and learning from the opportunities that come my way. Already I am so overwhelmed and thankful for the experiences and beautiful yogis that I have met so far on the journey. May we continue on this path to wellness and empowerment together. Thank you for stopping by!

High school and public school teachers! Are you interested in incorporating a yoga program into your classroom? Jitters and restlessness of school can creep up on all of us, and students benefit from a weekly yoga practice in a school setting. It is proven to help children and teens refocus, calm down and learn more effectively! Contact me to set up in school or in class yoga sessions with me!
Are you hoping to bring some team building or bonding to your workplace or within a group of close friends or family? Yoga retreat afternoons are perfect for that! Let’s plan something and get your yoga flowing.
Types of yoga I teach
Public School Yoga: This project enables children and preteens to be introduced to or to further delve into the holistic benefits of a yoga practice. They learn pranayama (breathing) and meditation techniques along with physical postures (asana) in a playful manner. These techniques help to develop coping and communication skills in our future generation of mindful adults.
Teen Yoga: This is an active practice introducing the basic postures and sun salutation sequences to teens. It ends with a relaxation and meditation focusing on eliminating stress and building self confidence.
Power Yoga: This is a vinyasa flow class that incorporates postures that are moderate to vigorous and will help to build strength in the body. You will likely sweat in this class! The class ends with a relaxation sequence. Try it out if you are familiar with yoga.
Vinyasa Yoga: Vinyasa refers to a flowing sequence of postures paired with breath. In other words, with every inhale and exhale a movement is performed. This type of yoga sees more movement than other styles, and because of this it often generates more heat in the body, giving you a moderate to vigorous workout. The class is accessible to beginners and it ends with a relaxation sequence.
Prenatal Yoga: During pregnancy, it is important to take the time to connect with your changing body and your baby. Prenatal yoga provides an opportunity to learn calming breathing techniques and to ease out lower back pain, hip pain and other stiffness that may be associated with pregnancy. This yoga for mothers-to-be is designed to teach you to listen to your motherly intuition, to prepare for the birthing process and to take some moments of stillness to enjoy this beautiful phase of life. Mothers at any stage of pregnancy are welcome! One on one bookings only. Please contact.
Yang-Yin Yoga: This class plays with the contrasts of the classic Ying-Yang symbol. It combines heat with cool; high energy with low energy; yang with yin. The class starts with 3o minutes of vinyasa flow yoga which is meant to heat the body and ignite that internal flame. After these first 30 minutes, the class turns into a slow, gentle restorative Yin yoga focus. Poses are held for longer in order to get deeper into the connective tissues of the body. The main focus of yin poses in this class are the hips and spine, but don’t be surprised with a deep shoulder release or hamstring release! Leave feeling refreshed and loosened up.
